The world is made of sound - part 2

When faced with stress and crises situations, we sometimes act as if we have totally lost all common good sense. Assisted by the sound of the singing bowls, we can re-create our contact with our wonderful spirit guides, and our inherent good common sense. Brain research carried out these past few years has now reached the conclusion that our so called “common good sense” is situated within our brain, and is only then available to us when the most important parts of this central organ are working in top condition.
Confusion within the brain – singing bowl sounds produce clarity and new order
Sounds influence on physical, emotional and energetic (aura, chakras, meridian systems) levels. If we imagine what the brain is doing to convert the sounds made out of a singing bowl, it becomes clear how harmonizing and clearing these sounds can be. The sounds and frequencies are rhythmic – even paced. The ear tells us that there is something rhythmic, even, constant, and passes this information on to the brain. The brain develops the corresponding matrix, an inner picture of conformity, rhythm, and the security that is associated with this. What may sound a bit complicated here, can be easier said with an old proverb: “what one shouts into the woods, that is what will echo back”.
One of those parts that are of great importance for us are the cerebrum, which is the youngest part of our brain, responsible for our conscious thought processes, the deliberating between pro and contra, and for making decisions. The other part is the so called limbic system, which is from a clan history point of view much older; our ancestors could already access those parts of the brain long before the used language. It works with pictures, imagination and emotions.
Crisis-proof system
In a crisis situation, it is the cerebrum that can’t handle its duties anymore. We hardly have clear thoughts anymore; the usual aplomb that we normally apply to carry out tasks is suddenly gone; decisions become difficult. Our limbic system however, is not faced by such crisis situations; it is used to sorrow and still works without fault. Now the medium called “language” is the most inappropriate to communicate with and make contact with the limbic system, because the ability to talk is situated with the cerebrum. Therefore, how can we communicate best with the limbic system? The answer is: with sounds and pictures.
By using sounds we are in contact with our limbic system, our „Inner Wisdom”. The feelings of security and confidence also spread into other parts of the brain and we are again in possession of all our good spirits.
Next time we talk about the “Qi Gong of healing sounds” and visit the “way of the chakras in an amethyst world”, with built in singing bowls in the beautiful “Waldviertel” (Austria). You can get more information and news from the world of sounds from my website: www.petra9.com
