Shared luck gives you doubled luck
It started when I answered to a statement in the internet (xing). I didn't have to wait too long and I received a reaction in form of a written statement: ".... You hit me! In a positive way." Yesterday we had talked on the phone. I gave some hints showing a new direction, worth to walk. I could do so, because I am "outside looking in"; I'm not standing inside the circle. What I was talking about was a description of my experiences over the last years. Describing the problems that crossed my way acting like obstacles. A description of all the realizations I was blessed being able to exprience.
A couple of time ago I was writing in a blog form my friend Dr. Bill Guillory (www.where-to-now.com). I wrote down my perception of love: It all starts when we're meeting someone and there is this moment of understanding, knowing. We are happily together until ... one day ... we start changing our partner. Thinking: Why doesn't he wear a tie? It would look sooo good! Why doesn't he like the movies I do? Why doesn't he like to join me at the beach and always likes to hike?
We met somone and we fell in love. Then we start trying to change him, to arrange him into our concept. To be kind to us he will do so. He will change - and - he will not be the same again, not the one we once fell in love with.
In my point of view love is: Giving. Giving without any expectations. Being there, listen, support. Seeing the world through the eyes of the other, to be able to understand that there is not such a thing as "being right". Both are right, each one from his point of view. Love is: I am here whenever you'll need me. I'm happy when you are. Love is unconditional. Love combined to expectations is not love.
Love is the most meaningful, powerful force in our universe. Whenever we experience a crisis people are present to help, support and become "ONE". Why don't we behave in this way in our everyday life?
Let's walk this way together in unity. In our new program the "small acts of kindness" we're giving a examples easy to realize. During the next upcoming months I want to present the book I recently translated called: "Diversity - the unifying force" written by Dr. William Guillory, ph.D. Chapter after chapter I want to invite you to follow me on our way.
"Love in action is a force, that will set us free." (Susan Taylor)
