MEDITATION OF THE MONTH - NOVEMBER 20TH TO DECEMBER 20TH 2009
Meditation proposed by Marko Pogacnik
How shall we respond in a creative way to the karmic debt that humanity is accumulating through its alienated way of treating life of this wonderful planet? It supersedes capacities of humanity “to pay back” what we have dissipated. Even if we personally do our best to live in a positive and harmonious way, we are still participating in a culture that does not care about the foundations of life.
The divine mercy is our hope. I believe that the divine core of Gaia can be a limitless source of mercy and forgiveness. But the blessing of annihilating our collective karmic debts, has to be called upon, to be able to act.
Here a proposal:
As first, one should connect to the Mother of life. She is present everywhere, in plants, crystals, mountains, rivers and oceans, in the organism of our own being.
Imagine looking this all encompassing woman into her eyes.
Take time to deepen your relationship to her and by this also towards yourself.
Then express through your feelings the request, Gaia, the Mother of life should help us to breath through our personal and collective karmic debts.
One should breathe with her this way: while breathing in, you should imagine, that together with your breath, the Earth body is breathing in as much as possible of all that, which needs transformation within the belly of Gaia.
It follows a short break dedicated to the processes of transmutation within.
Then breathe out and imagine that together with your out breath, the Earth is breathing out the purified powers, distributing them throughout the surface of the planet (and through your body perhaps also).
Repeat this kind of breathing a few times and then renew your link with the Mother of life.
Cycle can be repeated few times.
