Animal Kingdom

The book "Animal Kingdom":
"... is a great reminder that there is room for all of humanking to mutually co-exist through interdependent and respectful relationships that can sustain us all ... a great read." Bob Young, Former Director of Diversity, Dell Corporation.
Chapter One - The Lair
As the lions gathered in preparation for the Summit, they were determined to permanently resolve the threatening changes taking place in Utopia. The Lair was filled with an air of tension. Heated conversations centered on the increasing populations of "dwellers." Dweller was the less than complimentary name used by the lions for the plant-eating herds. The major herd groups included zebra, caribou and gazelle. More and more dwellers were populating the territory perviously controlled by the lions.
King, the leader of the lions, had been listening quietly, yet attentively, to the animated discussions among the pride. When King finally stirred, all discussion immediately ceased and the pride gave him their individed attention. He began by emphasizing the need for a permanent solution to the disturbing events taking place in the Prideland.
In spite of their devreasing control of the plains, the lions continued to refer to Utopia as the Prideland. Utopia was the name given to the plains by the plant-eating animals because of its original unlimited bountifulness.
In response to King's emphasis on the need for a permanent solution, they cried out in unison, "What are we going to do about the herds?"
King took a long moment to reply. "Adapt", he said.
"Adapt what?" They exclaimed.
"We make it loos as though we accept the dwellers a governing partners of the Prideland." He explained quietly. "Then, we provie them less grasslang than needed for their growing populations. The result will automatically be dissension, dispute and most of all, division."
"You mean the old tried-but-true strategy of 'divide and conquer'?" Lionel asked. Lionel was one of King' s strongest supporters.
"It's worked in the past, why not today?" commented one of the pride members. "After all, we're not dealing with eagles. These are just your basic dwellers. King's plan is brillian", he concluded.
"No!" King exclaimed. "That strategy is not a long-term solution to our problem. There are too many of them to conquer. We must 'divide and control'. As long as we keep the major herds divided among themselves, we can control the situation and reclaim that which is rightfully ours." King concluded with a self-assuring smile.
Lionel asked. "You mean we have no real intent of sharing control of the Prideland with the dwellers?"
"Of course not", replied another member of the pride. "What a stupid question!" King just sat back without confirming or discouraging further comment.
His point had been made.

I visited this sight for the first time and found it much informative and knowledgeable but I would like to add that currently we are living in the era of IT but unfortunately more than half of world population is illiterate. Out of those a few are computer and internet familiar so the target market for internet marketing is niche. Therefore the developed nations should promote IT as well as computer literacy in these developing areas so the target market can be increased in future.

Dear James;
I like your way of thinking - there is a lot of trues - do you have any practical ideas for support?
Another problem we have in the so called western countries that people can write, read and have computers - but even they do not use their brains.
